Hi, My name is Greer Rivera.
This blog documents my life as a professional photographer, it includes photos from recent shoots, offers helpful tips for your wedding, island info, as well as my personal and travel imagery. My business is based on St.John, US Virgin Islands where I spend my winters, and Martha's Vineyard where I grew up and still return for summers. I believe photography should be natural, classic, clean and simple. Whether photographing weddings, kids, families, or commercial assignments, I create organic editorial imagery with a genuine life-stylistic approach that is full of energy. I met up with Cassandra and her husband, Keith on St.Thomas 2 days after I got back to St.John. We met at their apartment, which coincidentally was right next door to some of my mom's oldest friends from Boston that we were visiting that day as well!! They live right on the beach at Sapphire Beach, which was quite convenient for her beach maternity session.
We took a few of her and Keith together before he had to get back to work, he owns Señor Pizza in Red Hook.
Baby Rush was born TWO DAYS after we took these photos!! Thanks for waiting Rush! ;)

Here are a just a couple photos of the many I took of my Cousin's new baby, Peter. He was born on 7/8/09! These were taken when he was about 2 weeks old.

The Linnens Family was gracious enough to join me for a sunrise shoot...yea like 5 AM! Craziness! They were actually more than willing to come out to the east end of the island with me for a great time!
There's lots more cute photos, photoshop does not want to save for me right now... I'll try to add a few more later.

You can see Alexis and Tom's Wedding day right below this post, but I decided to split their photos into two posts since it was two separate days. We had so much fun and had a lot of time to just play around during their day after session. I love doing these sessions because we get to just relax and shoot some really fun, romantic and artistic photos.
This is one of my faves from the day!
I had so much fun shooting Alexis and Tom...Again! They were truly up for anything and totally relaxed in front of the camera. I have the coolest clients!
