Hi, My name is Greer Rivera.
This blog documents my life as a professional photographer, it includes photos from recent shoots, offers helpful tips for your wedding, island info, as well as my personal and travel imagery. My business is based on St.John, US Virgin Islands where I spend my winters, and Martha's Vineyard where I grew up and still return for summers. I believe photography should be natural, classic, clean and simple. While I was in NYC I photographed Emma and Tyler for each of their modeling portfolio's, I was going to photograph them separately seeing as they had never met but decided it might be more fun to photograph them together for part of the shoot too. They are both easy going people and had no problem acting as though they had known each other for years!
Tyler is pursuing acting while Emma is a professional dancer in the city, both are going to do modeling on the side to make some extra cash.

We found this cute little restaurant right there in Brooklyn and had to take advantage of the bright red wall!
We got a couple of strange looks for this one.. but what ya gonna do. I had to show off that body! haha

Getting risky in prospect park.
Emma is a dancer and moved to NYC to pursue dancing professionally while doing some modeling on the side, she recently got signed with a dance agency and is on tour. She even met her musician boyfriend while dancing in his music video, now if that's not a requirement in that industry I don't know what is!

Every time we jumped in the car to go to another location, Tyler turned up the stereo and sang at the top of his lungs, it was pretty hilarious! hah

Emma's friend Laila Munaf is a designer at Third Culture and designed this sweatshirt for her, I LOVE it!
