Hi, My name is Greer Rivera.
This blog documents my life as a professional photographer, it includes photos from recent shoots, offers helpful tips for your wedding, island info, as well as my personal and travel imagery. My business is based on St.John, US Virgin Islands where I spend my winters, and Martha's Vineyard where I grew up and still return for summers. I believe photography should be natural, classic, clean and simple. Becky and Dan had a small personal wedding at Beach Villa in Peter Bay. The only guests were their best friends, Jamie and Bruce Nelson.
The day before we had lightning and thunderstorms and thought it would be pouring all day, I had some cute photos planned with umbrellas but by morning the rain had dissipated and it was sunshine and smiles for the rest of the day!
The ceremony was at 3:30, so the light was gorgeous for the late afternoon/early evening photos we had planned.
Becky and Dan are such great people and were up for anything. I also want to thank Jamie and Bruce for being there the whole way for them, holding towels, fixing makeup and being there to cheer them on when I told them to make out! Kiss her Dan! Kiss her!
