Hi, My name is Greer Rivera.
This blog documents my life as a professional photographer, it includes photos from recent shoots, offers helpful tips for your wedding, island info, as well as my personal and travel imagery. My business is based on St.John, US Virgin Islands where I spend my winters, and Martha's Vineyard where I grew up and still return for summers. I believe photography should be natural, classic, clean and simple. Whether photographing weddings, kids, families, or commercial assignments, I create organic editorial imagery with a genuine life-stylistic approach that is full of energy. Jonathan and Olivia were married on June 2nd at Trunk Bay by Anne Marie Porter. They eloped and kept the secret from their friends and family! They have been a couple for 10 years!

On the last day of May, Lindsey and Matt were married at the Ritz Carlton on St.Thomas.
It was a beautiful ceremony at the cliff gazebo overlooking the water.

I'm finally back from Italy and will start to catch up on blogging and also blog some photos from our trip!

On May 24th I had the honor of spending the evening with Tina Felix and 50 of her closest friends and family. Tina is a wonderful and spirited woman and does not seem 50 at all!
Her awesome party was on the point at Gallows Point Resort.

Mathayom Vacharat of St.John Catering catered the party and let me tell you it was the BEST catered food I have EVER had! check them out! oh and he's awesome as well.

In my opinion you never have to have an excuse to have a portrait taken but Billy and Julia Wood were planning on returning to St.John where they spent their honeymoon for their 5 year anniversary but just didn't want to wait any longer and opted to schedule the trip a year early.
We met at Cinnamon Bay in the late afternoon for some time in the sun and water!
It's amazing to see two people still have so much passion for each other after so many years!
